Both Nando and Ronja entered RR lure coursing
championships in Jaala. Ronja won the class for "over-ages" :) and Nando was 3rd
in veteran class. It was nice to meet RR folks - thank you all for hilarious
company!

Ronja shined in agility trial in Orimattila today
She did 2 x clear round in Maxi-2 class and got two legs towards the
hardest level, maxi-3 class. One more to go!

Nando entered Swedish Blood Tracking test in Trehörningsjö,
Sweden. He did extremely good job, gained 1st prize and became a Swedish
Tracking Champion!

Blood tracking trial in Iitti, Säyhtee
Nando finalized the Finnish Tracking Champion title today with the 1st
prize, 47/50 points. He also became a TRIPLE CHAMPION. Results updated
here.

Finnish Ridgeback Club's traditional Lure Coursing Event
"Monttu"
We spend a nice and sunny Lure Coursing day in Vihti, Otalampi. Both Nando and
Ronja had fun by running afte a lure, and we also met Jumo for a long time :)

Ronja received agility-CAC and moved up to agility Maxi-2
class today in Mikkeli!

Nando entered agility trial in Helsinki.
In the first
round we had some communication problems which caused disqualification. The
second track was technically more demanding. However, Nando did great job and
got a clear round and was 10th among 50 Maxi-3 dogs! Unfortunately, we couldn't catch up with the ideal time.

Ronja did clear and fast round in the agility trial in
Helsinki, result: 0 / -10 seconds under the ideal time, placement 3rd among 21
Maxi-1 dogs and LUVA! Ronja is now only one 0-result short of moving up to
Maxi-2 class. Ronja's agility page updated

Both dogs entered agility trials in Riihimäki today.
Nando hasn't been competed in agility since May 2009 and Ronja since September
2005... So, it was about the time!
A weather was freezing cold, but both dogs performed quite well. Ronja
shined in
1-class making the second fastest time of the class. Unfortunately she got
disqualification as I lost the control in the end of the track. Nando did
also excellent job in the first track; only some faults because of my poor
guidance.
Now we all need some more training - as soon as the frosty weather of -20 C
will get milder... Here's how our dogs do the daily outdoor activities:
The frosty weather of -27 C. The proper shell suits are very much needed.
Afterwards, the front of fireplace is the most likable spot.
